Say My Name

When I named my blog I did't think about other people, langue's.... I just wanted something simple... So in that moment Sladjin Blog look like good choice... Why?
 Well Sladja is my name :) And blog like one word that covers every topic...
So it was like that Sladjin Blog :)

Now when I live in Spain I see how to some people is hard to say my name.. And at first they all say it is impossible... But now they all know how to say it. :)) OK! I admit everyone say it diferent...
 My portuguese friend (J)... Well he says my name in 2 ways. One is very similar to way how people who speak my langue say it. and other way is very rough, and sound like insult. For my ears it's like hell. And my name means Sweetie or Dulce, so how can you say it and to sound so... ugh! No me gusta/Me nooo like!!
 My portuguese girl friend (Vivi) accents my name so the part sla-dja sounds more determined :) And I like it!
 For spanish people my name in first step was impossible! Ye impossible! They even said to me

''we have to find you some nickname! your name is impossible to pronounce!''

But now everyone knows how to say it :)) Oh yeee.. And they say it...hm...in many different ways. It's hard to explain but they say it.

 And from all that different ways my favorite way of saying my name is when my italian friend (N) says it. Slaža :)) so if you know my language you know how it sounds. But for you that don't know let's just say that it has some Italian melodic! :)

How I live in Spain and my best friend are from Portugal and Italy I don't hear the right way of saying my name so often, so I started saying my name in some different way. It just sound different. And every time I say it I start laughing :)  

 When I am in Starbucks or some other place were i need to say my name I always say Sara, Ana...something simple. It's easy to be Sara then to explain spelling, then reading... For God sake I just want coup of coffee :)

So do you know how to say my name?! :) 

Boys and Girls start packing....

Moving? What? Who? Where?

What is happening here?

My dear readers this is what is happening, I am moving to Spain! Yes I said Spain! Where I am going to live and work (and learn how to speak Spanish) for next 3 months. 

I can even describe You how I feel these days... Happy.. Sad.. Fear... Exciting... It's real fusion of emotion.

This is huge thing for me!

First. It's one amazing job opportunity!

Secondly. OMG! Living in Spain! How AMAZING is that??

Thirdly. Learning to speak Spanish  in Spain! Awesome! 

And that there is that fourth thing that makes me forget about all good things. Going ALONE in Spain. Not knowing anyone there. Being far away from everything I love...

So I can't take with me my sister, my family, my friend, my pets and all those little things that I love but I can bring YOU with ME! So start packing :)) 

Remember when I told you there will be lots of surprise on SB (aka Sladjin Blog) ??? :)))

Oh yes!

So start packing, Spain is waiting for us! :)

Day Of MY Life

Fall has officially begun!

And I promise you lots of surprise will hapened  on my blog :))

But before I start autumn edition on SB (a.k.a. Sladjin Blog) let's remember how amazing this summer was. Do you remember those days when I disappear? Well, this pics were made on one of those days :)

 It was one of those hot summer days that I absolutely adore (especially now).
One of those days when You don't make plans. When life just happens. Nothing special, little things, but it makes you smile.

I spent the whole day with my sister.Coffee with friends, ice cream, shopping...
And let me just say Oh, MY on shopping theme! I can't even describe you how much time I spent in shopping....

What I'm Wearing

Finally outfit post :)))

   So from 'story of a dress' to 'run away from the city' . 

I must say big THANK YOU to my sis for being so patient with me (or better said my uncontrollable laughter :D, disobedient hair, goofy face expression..etc.) for all ideas for shooting (if it wasn't for her you be looking right now to some pretty boring pics) taking photos...well for everything!

  I am not saying this only because she is my sister but she did magnificent job! Photos look so fashion/arty.  I look like a model (and i'm far away from one). Like in fashion magazines :)))) (But without photoshope) Well she is not yet Misa Obradovic, but who knows, one day maybe... I must say I never have better twitter icon and background  and all that thanks to this photo shooting :)) Sis you are the best! 

And why 'story of a dress'? Let me first ask you. Do you like my dress? Be honest!

Well dress is made by ME :))) blink, blink. 

And before that I had never sat at a sewing machine :) That happened when I saw the cutest dress that I fell in love, and then I saw the price... And so one new adventure began. :)

Just to say....

Hello! 

Rainy day... Again... Blah!

But  yesterday happened something  pretty amazing that I must share with you :)))

  After writing post about absolutely must I tweeted the link of post (with lots of hopes)  to DNKY PR girl so she can...i don't know...maybe read it. And then something absolutely amazing happened. 

She (DNKY PR GIRL) tweet ME! Saying that she love my shoes choice, and thanking me for all lovely words i said about her. I could not believe my eyes! She actually read my blog! And LIKE it!

I was literally jumping from joy (Yes, I need a little to be happy! But this was huge!) :))

That was so exciting for me! And totally made my day!

Me, 'Stupid' Movie', and Gorgeous Edward

In my part of hemisphere it's cold... It rains... Seems like it's September and not July. So I am drinking coffee.... Looking through my window that London weather....But  far, far away from London... Music playing.... and I have some thoughts that I MUST share with you. :))) Absolutely must!
I saw this movie... Pay attention!

Ii's....It's.... so stupid! :D
Probably the most stupid movie that I watched in a long, long time!
So stupid that i watched it twice! Yes, I said twice! :D

confusing?

Let me be more clear :) It's good kind of stupid movie! The story of movie is simply and... well let say this.. British making "american"  romantic comedy! Yeah...  If you are looking for movie easy to watch, and just to relax, have some fun... It's PERFECT! And you MUST watch it!


Scenes and landscape are so beautiful... It's lovely to watch!
Watching it I wish it would snow! And how crazy is that? I`m bitching all winter about cold, snow, and now in  summer I am thinking how snow is nice! :D Ah....

And lets not forget gorgeous ED WESTWICK! Blink-blink :))) With his gorgeous British accent! Aww....He is so hot! (Saying this also with perfect British accent! :D ) And if you are fan of Gossip Girl this is perfect chance to hear him speak with British accent! And let me just say this...

Ordinary girl, Rainy days, and Stuff ...

 This days i`ve got a feeling like i am in London! Rain..Than sun... Than rain... And again sun... This days umbrella is my best friend! Just that you know in right this moment i am wearing a sweater! Yup, sweater in July. What a summer! And I am pretty sure I am not in London! Bummer :(
 So far away from London and again in very English weather my day pass.. peacefully and quietly. Pretty boring? I know! :) But i told YOU! I am very ordinary girl :)
 Doing my browsing through blogs/searching internet/what I miss/what is new sniffing i find trailer for one new movie One Day! Did you heard about it? 

If you are not informed as I am few words about it. It is romance/drama based on bestseller book "One Day" by David Nicholls. I say this with shame that I have not read it..yet! (I am not always reading bestseller books!) But i watch a trailer and I can wait to see a movie! It looks amazing! Even this poster for movie is looking so awesome. Little bit vintage (that we already define that i love) little bit fashionable, and with lots of  romance. Looks promising!
  And of course i will read book too! In my case book always turn up to be better than movie. Like "Eat, Pray, Love". I love the book. Movie not so much. Even Julia Roberts who i love could not make it more likable. Ah what a shame...
 But lets get back on "One Day" :)
Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess (and can i just say with his gorgeous accent! awwww :)) ) Promise very romantic movie. So until August. here is trailer to teas you (and me) :)

 Konačno nešto i na srpskom jeziku! Šta da vam kažem ovih dana mi misli idu na engleskom pa sa njima i blog.. (Mada nije da se pravdam ;) ) So if you don`t understand what i am saying click TRANSLATOR button! :)) Ali da se vratimo naslovu i temi ovog posta!

Zar nije divna???

Želim da postanem Maja Nikolić! Tako je prvobitno išao naslov, a onda sam se setila neke druge Maje Nikolić... Pa zlu ne trebalo rekoh bolje da razjasnima! Maja Japundža Nikolic!!! Voditeljka! Lice RTS! Čisto da ne bude zabune! :)
  Glavno kupim ja jutros Blic Puls i krenem da ga prelistavam uz kaficu. Da vidim šta to ima novo u svetu poznatih. I tako dođem do nove, i trenutno mi omiljene rubrike "TAŠNA" kad tamo Maja Nikolić! Kežual obučena, mršava, prelepa.... Pleni u svakom smislu! I onda mi padne ta misao.... Hoću da budem kao Maja Nikolić!!!
  Da u 37-oj imam troje dece! Da čvrsto stojim na zemlji uprkos svemu! Da izgledam tako vitko, sveže i prelepo (sa troje dece) u 37-oj! Da imam savršeni posao koji volim! I da nosim PRADA tašnu! Jedna u potpunosti uspešna i ostvarena žena!
 Eto zato ja želim da budem kao Maja (Japundža da ne bude zabune ) Nikolić!

  Pa pošto sam čvrsto žakoračila u 26-tu vreme je da postavim sebi neke visoke (što višlje :D ) životne ciljeve! Ni više ni manje nego kao  Maja Japundža Nikolić! Nimalo skromno! :)) Zar ne?! :)

1. Best B`day ever!!! :)
2. I have best mum and sister in a whole world! The literally moved the planet to make my B`day incredible! I am one lucky girl!!
3. My FB wall was fool of so nice messages! I literally start to call myself  "thanks" because of so many "Thank you" responds! :D LoL
4. The group of my BFF-s came to my house uninvited making me awesome B`day party! Love that some peoples you don`t need to tell something they just already know it! :))
5. My sis and mum made me the best B`day PINK cake! Yes it was PINK! So AWESOME!
6. My sister is sweetheart! My angel! Love her so much!
7. Estranged friend who i didn`t see for almost two years came to my B`day party to surprise me! I was so happy!!! Thanks to my sister (I know! YES my SISTER is the BEST!!! ) So awesome!!! :)
8. My room is full of beautiful flowers thanks to my friends! Calla & lilies!
9. Got a lots of awesome gifts !
10. My sis bought me a shoes! She is the best ( Just you don`t forget that fact! :) )
11. Have a full draw of candies thanks to my friends! :)

My Eurovision Thoughts

 Düsseldorf thank you for a great show!!! :)
It was one great night full of good vibration & music! All Europe was watching & cheering & off course tweeting :D (you must love modern technology) Like one big family! It really was one specially feeling!
  I love that i am European girl! Does not exist better place in whole world!
So back to Eurovision :)) Ready or not here i go! Eurovision in MY view!
1. Second semifinal night was better! Much more good music.
2. Why Latvia didn`t past in final? I really like them!

3.Two pair of twins!!! WoW! So cool & cute! Ireland`s boys were so cool!

4. Ukraine ( i don`t know how to call that...but it appears behind the singer on the wall...) Lets call that "screen art"  was AWESOME! So arty! Like that really much!

5. Estonia has her own Katy Perry :D

6. Oh that hunk from Greece...Mmmmmmmmm :))) Mom I am going to marry him! :) lol Graduated in Biology! He is Greek (i love Greece, so being Greek is big +) Loves music! Sings! He is hot... Come on! He is perfect for ME! :) Ok he doesn`t know about marriage or me...But that is not so important! ;) <3
